Welder-Mechanic- Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing various types of machinery and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs and install PTO, drive shafts, and electrical wiring.

• Mounting vacuum tanks, installing valves, wiring, lights, etc.

• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.

• Operate forklifts as necessary for moving equipment or materials.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

• Follow safety protocols while working with heavy machinery and tools.

• Assist in training junior mechanics or service technicians as needed.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.

• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to mechanical work.

- Perform welding tasks such as machining, rigging, assembling, and building.

- Operate and maintain equipment such as a Press Brake machine.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and codes to ensure accurate fabrication.

- Use various tools and equipment to fabricate metal components.

- Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role.

- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).

- Capable of welding carbon steel/aluminum.

- Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding processes.

- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
