Job Description
The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with timely month-end close and reporting. This position works collaboratively with finance and operational teams and offers strong exposure across core accounting functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Record and support journal entries, account analyses, and schedules in support of month-end and year-end close
Complete general ledger reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently
Assist with financial reporting, including internal management reports and audit support
Oversee fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and related reconciliations
Prepare variance analysis and provide clear explanations for trends and fluctuations
Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and internal control initiativesQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles
Experience with ERP systems; strong Excel skills preferred
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-managementPay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
