Fitter Welder

Job Description

The Fitter Welder is responsible for reading blueprints and performing precise metal fitting and welding assembly with tight tolerances. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship within specified dimensions. The position offers pay based on experience and operates during standard daytime hours.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Perform MIG and TIG welding to assembly specifications

Fit metal components accurately, holding tolerances of 1/16 inch

Work independently to complete assigned welding and fitting tasks

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in welding and fitting

High school diploma or equivalent
