Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic press equipment, as well as general facility and production machinery.
Must know hydraulic machines, pneumatic machines, conveyors and natural gas fired equipment
Additionally, this person will be needed to assist with production when not directly maintaining equipment
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime and ensuring safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic presses
Assist with daily production goals
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues and implement timely solutions
Troubleshoot electrical components related to machinery (motors, sensors, controls, etc.)
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend machine life
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Maintain and repair compressors, pumps, valves, and related systems
Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety and operational standards
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
Collaborate with production teams to prioritize repairs and minimize disruptions
Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
Experience with PLCs is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in an industrial environment (noise, heat, machinery)
Standing, bending, and climbing for extended periods
