Job Title: Forklift Driver (Fabrication Shop)

Pay: $20-$23 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our fabrication shop team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of a metal fabrication environment and can safely move materials while supporting production.

Position Overview

As a Forklift Driver in our fab shop, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products, and large steel components throughout the facility. You will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to move steel, parts, and fabricated materials

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Supply welders and fabricators with materials as needed

Organize and maintain inventory in the shop and yard

Assist with staging jobs and preparing materials for production

Perform daily forklift inspections and basic maintenance

Follow all safety procedures and shop protocols

Qualifications

Previous forklift experience required

Experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing shop strongly preferred

Ability to handle heavy, oversized materials (steel plates, beams, etc.)

Strong attention to safety and detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
