Job Description
We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our expansion into Singapore and Malaysia, two high-potential markets for growth.
This is a foundational role focused on building an early-stage pipeline, establishing brand presence, and opening doors with key stakeholders across construction and infrastructure ecosystems.
The Role
This role is all about creating momentum in a new region. The focus is on identifying opportunities, initiating conversations, and building credibility with local stakeholders while collaborating closely with Australian teams.
Success in this role comes from strong outbound execution, sharp market understanding, and the ability to turn cold outreach into meaningful commercial conversations.
Responsibilities
Building early-stage relationships with construction companies, developers, and project stakeholders across Singapore and Malaysia
Identifying and researching target accounts, projects, and decision-makers within the region
Generating pipeline through consistent cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement
Booking qualified meetings with key stakeholders and project teams
Developing market insights to support regional go-to-market strategies
Managing and maintaining accurate activity and pipeline tracking within CRM systems
Collaborating closely with sales leadership to refine messaging and positioning for new markets
Contributing to brand awareness and market entry initiatives
Ideal Profile
You have at least 1 year of experience in outbound sales, SDR/BDR, or pipeline generation roles
You bring strong capability in cold calling and outbound prospecting
Strong English communication skills supporting engagement with both local and international stakeholders
Familiarity with local market dynamics in Singapore and/or Malaysia adds a clear advantage
Researching companies, stakeholders, and opportunities comes naturally
Driven, coachable, and motivated by targets and growth
Early in your sales career, with strong ambition and learning agility
Exposure to construction, logistics, or infrastructure is a plus
