Essex Industries is a multi-site aerospace and defense manufacturer serving military and commercial customers worldwide.

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team.

In this role, you will work hands-on inspecting and assembling component parts using blueprint specifications and verifying performance and quality through the Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP).Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.• Receiving inspection of all incoming parts and materials according to blueprint and procedures, as required.

• Conduct In-process and final inspection of sub-assemblies and products per blue print and procedures.

• Testing of subassemblies and products per test procedures.• Perform Chemical analysis of lithium hydroxide and scrubbers per procedures, as applicable.

• Packaging inspection per blue print and procedures • Auditing products and product discrepancies, as applicable/certified.• Record discrepancies and separate good from defective parts• Assume responsibility that completed product has met all requirements• Coordinate with production activities.• Record data for trending analysis.

• Report major failures as they happen.• Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needsRequirementsHigh school level reading and math skills.

1-year experience in Quality Assurance.
