Job Description
Questions First: Is This Your Next Big Move? What is Hadrian?
We’re building autonomous factories for aerospace and defense — combining software, robotics, and full stack manufacturing to produce rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. We partner from startups to Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers and major defense contractors. We’ve raised a $260M Series C from Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, launched a 270,000 sq. ft. Mesa, AZ factory (350 new jobs), are opening a new HQ to support thousands more hires, introduced Hadrian Maritime, and rolled out a Factory as a Service model to deliver complete systems. What will I actually drive?
You’ll be the operational owner of training outcomes across specific factory stations: accelerating time to readiness, locking in quality through standards adherence, and building team self sufficiency across shifts. How will I spend my time?
Master new procedures first, then transform them into crystal clear on the job learning for technicians.
Coach 1:1 and in small groups to address nuances, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
Measure training velocity (time to full crew readiness) and quality (standards compliance); act early to close gaps.
Mentor technician trainers and adapt delivery to varied learning styles across all shifts.
Own assessments: quizzes, hands on checks, and progress reporting with transparent criteria.
Define and iterate hard skill and soft skill rubrics.
Partner with process designers to codify tasks and decisions using structured if/then logic.
Keep training content version controlled and audit ready; run/support training audits to maintain 100% procedural compliance.
Re align returning technicians to the latest standards.
Blend on the job and off the job training formats for maximum retention and speed.
Collaborate with Learning System Engineers on a continuous improvement roadmap.
This is a full-time, hourly position with equity participation and comprehensive benefits. What team will I join?
Workforce Development — the group dedicated to cultivating the next generation of manufacturing talent. We build a comprehensive training system, standardize processes, drive software adoption, and maintain an integrated training and certification ecosystem to lift factory maturity and effectiveness. What do I need to bring?
