Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for operating a variety of machinery, including but not limited to CNC Mills/Lathe machines, saws, deburring tools. Ensures that completed parts meet specifications and meet quality standards. Will train personnel as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Follow established Safety Rules, Shop Guidelines, and quality procedures
Operate 1-4 machines simultaneously
Check and validate parts to supplied validation sheets
Keep a tidy and organized work area
Report any unusual sights or sounds to your supervisor
Run production in a safe and efficient manner
Removal of chips from the machine(s)
Other duties maybe assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Basic understanding of CNC Machining
Basic ability to read blueprints/ operation sheets
Basic shop math skills
Good problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to use measuring tools
Desire to grow and learn new skills
Portrays a can-do attitude
Team collaboration skills
Read, write, and understand English
Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs unassisted, standing for up to 8 hours for shift, and high level of dexterity for operating machines.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred. One or more years demonstrated CNC Mill Operator experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
Full time, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm, 40 hours per week. Overtime available as business needs permit.
Part time may be available at a reduced schedule.
