Associate – Corporate

Location: Cayman Islands

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Corporate Lawyer with a strong focus on investment funds to join a market-leading Corporate Practice Group in the Cayman Islands.

This role provides the opportunity to work on high-profile, cross-border investment fund matters, including fund formations, restructurings, regulatory issues, and associated transactions. Clients include institutional investors, asset managers, private equity and hedge funds, and other sophisticated international market participants.

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded investment funds team advising on both open-ended and closed-ended fund structures, including NAV arrangements, subscription financing, fund listings, and broader regulatory compliance matters.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ post-qualified experience in corporate or funds law, with a strong focus on investment funds

Qualified as a lawyer in a Commonwealth jurisdiction

Strong academic record

Experience in fund formation, restructurings, NAV facilities, subscription financing, and regulatory matters

Exposure to broader corporate matters such as joint ventures, corporate finance, governance, and restructurings is highly desirable

Proven ability to manage a varied and complex workload with minimal supervision

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team
