The Facilities Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that all school facilities reflect and support this mission by maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming learning environments across three school buildings.

This role is responsible for ensuring safe, functional, and well-maintained learning environments while balancing hands-on maintenance work with long-term facility planning, vendor coordination, and capital improvement oversight.
Perform light to medium maintenance across all three school buildings (e.g., basic carpentry, flooring repair, minor plumbing, ceiling tile replacement, drywall work, and painting) Serve as the lead for day-to-day facilities operations, prioritizing and addressing maintenance needs across multiple locations Conduct regular building inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and repair opportunities Develop and maintain a capital improvement plan across all three buildings, including identifying needs, establishing priorities, and recommending timing for repairs and replacements Assist with maintenance and capital budget planning, including forecasting upcoming needs and recommending cost-effective solutions Establish and manage a work order tracking process to prioritize requests, track completion, and identify recurring issues across all buildings Oversee and coordinate outside vendors and contractors, including sourcing, scheduling, and managing work to ensure high-quality service, cost-effective solutions, and alignment with The Graham Family of Schools' mission and project goals; monitor and manage related expenses to support responsible use of resources Ensure all buildings remain compliant with fire, health, and safety regulations, including maintaining required systems and documentation Maintain functionality of core building systems, including lighting, and respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues Support small facility improvement projects, coordinating logistics, timelines, and contractor activity as needed Maintain school grounds, including general upkeep and trash removal, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment Track and maintain basic inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies Communicate effectively with school leadership and staff regarding maintenance needs, timelines, and updates across all buildings Respond to emergency or after-hours maintenance issues as needed Additional Requirements: Must be willing to work flexible hours and travel between all three school buildings Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet Must adhere to safe work practices at all times Minimum Qualifications: Pass BCI and FBI background check Compensation: Salary range is $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience.
