CNC Machine Operator 1st Shift: MUST DO OWN SET-UPS
The CNC Operator at Test Products will be responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. MUST be able to do set-ups, fixtured and non-fixtured, and run a complete part. Be knowledgeable of tools, tooling, and speeds & feeds. Also, detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. CNC operators maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday. However, the CNC Operator is expected to dedicate the time required to meet the company’s strategic plan.

$20 - $22 per hour
Responsibilities:
Performs all assigned machine shop operations.
Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or a designee.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
Regularly perform milling, turning, drilling, and tapping tasks.
Performs inspection of machined products and documents results.
Employees are expected to exemplify and uphold the company’s Core Values.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the position of CNC Machine Operator in Sterling Heights, MI, US, a high school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school is preferred.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as a CNC operator.
Understanding production procedures is essential for this role.
Communication proficiency is a required skill.
Mathematical skills are necessary for successful performance.
Mechanical and technical capacity is a key qualification.
Time management skills are crucial for meeting job requirements.

Full-time
