Role Description
Responsible for managing the routine warehouse operations supplies, storing, and shipping activities; securing warehouse and supervising staff such that a timely, cost effective and high-quality service is provided. This involves all aspects of warehouse activities ensuring the premises and procedures comply with GMP, EHS and regulatory guidelines.
2-DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List the primary responsibilities critical to the performance of the position)
Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations.
Manage warehouse staff, including task assignment and training.
Collaborate with other functions to resolve operational issues and handle customer requests ensuring efficient workflow.
Optimize activities and staff management in order to assure a high service to the customers.
Monitor and optimize receiving, storage, and shipping processes, including management of rejected and quarantine products, samples shipment and return of defective products to the vendors.
Meets warehouse operational standards identifying warehouse procedural improvements.
Moves inventory to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments, accordingly approved SOP’s.
Maintains high level of inventory accuracy by conducting routine physical counts, reconciling variances and inputting data using the informatics systems of the warehouse.
Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, requiring preventive maintenance, calling for repairs.
Prepare and review all the SOP, Change Controls, Deviations related with warehouse activity assuring constant compliance with legislation and company standards.
Check and verify shipping records, handle questions or concerns of shipping shortages or overages and address problems with inventory control.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
Improve operational efficiencies to increase ability to process customer orders and internal warehouse activities using both systems and physical improvements.
Meet with other department about shipments, purchasing, etc., so the warehouse activities remain coordinated and running smoothly.
Assist with preparation and management of departmental budget.
Ensure all routine quality and EH&S related processes are completed including:
- Timely completion of QARs and Corrective / Preventative Actions by applying DMAIC approach
- Completion of Internal or External audit action items
- Completion of EH&S risk assessments associated risk reduction activities
Manage team performance requirements including:
- Effective utilization and management of staff
- Providing feedback regarding the “on the job” performance of operators
- Providing “on the job” assessment of operator skills
Cultivate and reinforce the visual management process.
Complete timely all the performance process and recognition program for the direct report.
3-ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

3.1-Education:
Secondary high school diploma or bachelor’s degree
3.2-Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse environment
Experience in Warehouse Management, Logistic or related role
3.3-Core Competencies:
Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
Good English knowledge is mandatory.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and other computer tools. Deep knowledge of informatics systems and capability in learning new ones in short time
Demonstrated creativity and proven capability to effectively lead and develop others, lead and manage change, analyze complex issues resulting in appropriate & timely decisions, and promote innovation.
Strong commitment to Product Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Operational Excellence.
Strong leadership and staff management skills.
Must be self-motivated and flexible to learn and respond to changing responsibilities and priorities.
