GOSECO International Executive Search® has been selected to conduct a search for a Quality Manager to support a leading global manufacturing organization in the automotive sector.

The Quality Manager will play a critical leadership role in driving these initiatives at the plant level.
II. POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead and enhance the Total Quality Management system within a high-performance automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining robust quality systems aligned with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, driving process excellence, reducing scrap and cost of poor quality, and ensuring compliance across all quality functions.
III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the plant’s Total Quality System, ensuring alignment with IATF 16949 standards and customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, defects, and operational inefficiencies.
Translate customer critical-to-quality (CTQ) requirements into process controls and manufacturing standards.
Implement and sustain statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
Oversee internal and external audits and ensure full compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain to support product launches and process changes.
Develop and mentor the Quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Act as a key liaison with customers on quality-related matters.
Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
8–10+ years of experience in quality leadership within automotive manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
Proven experience leading quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance manufacturing environment.
