CNC Operator/ Cabinet Builder

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator / Cabinet Parts Cutter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC machinery to produce precise cabinet components and parts, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. Your expertise in CNC programming, tooling, and blueprint reading will be essential to efficiently fabricate parts that meet specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing directly to the creation of top-tier cabinetry products.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC to produce cabinet parts with precision.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine calibration to optimize performance and ensure safety standards are upheld.

Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy.

Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment; assist in packaging finished products for shipment.

Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Cut face frame parts and build face frames

Build misc. cabinet parts

Run moldings required for job if needed, apply moldings

Check in doors for each job, drill for hinges

Fit inset doors to openings

Build Cabinets

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC machinery

Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling setup

Experience working with software such as v carve pro or similar design tools is highly desirable.

Skilled in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools.

Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments.

Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.Company Description
