CNC Machinist Operator

Job Description

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team! As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating our state-of-the-art CNC machines to produce high-quality automotive components.

Shifts Available: 2nd and 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities

Interpret work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to determine production operations, machining sequences, and finished workpiece dimensions

Assemble and position cutting tools with precision using hand tools

Monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions, ensuring parts meet specifications

Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and various gauges

Conduct minor tool changes between part families to optimize machine performance

Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces to meet quality standards

Sort non-conforming or deviant parts as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in machine operations, troubleshooting, and use of gauging and measuring instruments

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Knowledge of safe work environment practices

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance

Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively

Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
