The PA Primary Care Career Center was founded to match up primary care providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, and more) with organizations that provide primary care services. The mission of the Community Health Clinic is to provide quality, affordable comprehensive primary healthcare services, across the lifecycles and regardless of the ability to pay, to all residence of the Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler and Westmoreland Counties. A particular emphasis is placed on the low income, underserved, and uninsured populations. Services are provided in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner without regard to gender, sexual orientation, religious preference, or physical ability. We believe that together we are improving quality of life by providing excellent quality and affordable comprehensive primary healthcare.
Community Health Clinic, Inc. is looking for a Family Practice Physician to see patients of all ages. We offer competitive pay package with incentive program and flexible work hours. Applicants are eligible for NHSC loan re-payment program and State loan repayment program.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full spectrum family medicine care to patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and health education.
Perform routine examinations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, behavioral health providers, dental providers, and support staff.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health efforts.
Provide culturally competent care aligned with the clinic s mission and values.
Participate in on call rotation as required (if applicable).
Engage in community outreach or health education activities as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Current DEA registration.
Commitment to serving diverse, underserved, and vulnerable populations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team based care model.
Experience in community health, FQHCs, or primary care settings preferred but not required.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
