Heinzerling Community has a great opportunity for a non-medical transportation driver. As a transportation driver you will get to interact with our amazing population of residents while safely transporting them to appointments and outings in the local community.

Pay: $20.25

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; hours may vary based on resident's appointment needs.

Duties include:

Provides transportation for individuals as needed in Heinzerling vehicles

Operates lifts in a safe and proper manner according to operating procedures

Assists residents with appointments and outings in the community

Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle. Ensures vehicles are in working order and gas tank is maintained at required levels

Maintains adequate personal hygiene of assigned residents; properly bathes, grooms, changes, dresses, feeds, and positions residents as necessary.

Must be 21 or older

Valid Ohio Driver's License (max 5 points) and clean driving record

Valid auto insurance

At least 3 years of driving experience

Able to provide a driver's abstract

Must pass a BCI/FBI background check and not be on any abuse registries

Strong attendance record

Must complete:

Driving test with Director of Facilities and Safety

Wheelchair securement training

CPR & First Aid certification

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
