CTG is seeking to fill a ServiceNow Developer/Architect position for our client.
Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Define and own the technical architecture for the ServiceNow platform, aligning with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and industry best practices
Lead hands-on development including custom scoped applications, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and Client Scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs
Design and implement secure, scalable solutions within a FedRAMP-authorized environment
Establish and enforce platform governance, coding standards, and best practices to ensure long-term maintainability and upgradeability
Architect and implement integrations with third-party systems using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, MID Servers, and REST/SOAP APIs
Configure and maintain advanced security controls including ACLs, encryption, and secure coding practices
Collaborate with Engagement Leads and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and specifications
Lead technical workshops, design sessions, and code reviews across cross-functional teams
Drive continuous platform optimization, performance tuning, and technical debt reduction
Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow development frameworks
Deep expertise with ServiceNow Studio, UI Builder, and Service Portal
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and governance
Experience with CMDB, CSDM, and ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping)
Advanced knowledge of integrations, APIs, and automation frameworks
Strong understanding of security best practices in regulated environments (FedRAMP or similar)
Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and present complex concepts clearly
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities
Experience:
8+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and architecture experience
Proven experience working in FedRAMP or highly regulated government cloud environments
Demonstrated experience leading both architecture strategy and hands-on development
Experience working with public sector clients preferred
Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Certifications (Required):
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITSM or ITOM preferred
ITIL v4 Foundation
Certifications (Preferred):
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Master Architect (CMA)
Security+ or similar cybersecurity certification

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $63.00 to $68.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
