Sr. Full Stack Web Application Developer

Our Partner is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Application Developer to work on a suite of services that will supply users with tools to automate a wide range of enterprise-wide applications and data centric mission management applications. The candidate will be part of a team of Software Developers, ETL Developers, and Data Scientists to enhance existing production applications and build out new web services on a routinized production cadence to meet the evolving needs of users. This is an exciting opportunity for Software Developers wanting to broaden their credentials in the realm of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML). This is also a great opportunity for the Software Developers to develop hands-on experience with new technical tools/applications.

Development will take place in an iterative fashion using Agile development methodology with input from all levels of stakeholders. The candidate must have the ability to communicate with project team members, user community, and leadership to assess changes and demonstrate iterative progress.

Responsibilities

Integrate AI/ML technology into a production web application

Participate with iterative software development teams with adherence to all reporting requirements

Design, develop, and unit test code for a production system and demonstration capabilities

Develop rapid prototypes to drive out requirements and design

Provide demonstrations and detailed walk through of features to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences

Meet with stakeholders, analyze requirements, develop user stories, and translate these into software development tasks

Develop technical documentation and briefing materials to support program status reviews, control gates, and other presentations as directed Requirements

TS/SCI FSP Clearance

Candidates must have a Bachelors' Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience, or 11 years of experience without a degree

Minimum 4-6 years building web applications using Angular, React or JavaScript with specific examples. Java Spring framework is a plus.

Minimum 3-4 years of demonstrated experience using coding language: Java, Python, JavaScript, CSharp. Python preferred. Other areas of object orientated programming will be considered.

Minimum 2-4 years of work experience using a Linux Operating system

Minimum 2-4 years of demonstrated experience with development and deployment of applications in cloud services; such as: AWS, C2S, Azure, Oracle Cloud

Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated ability to design, develop, test and implement new applications based on project requirements

Fundamental understanding of analytic tools and capabilities

Experience in Agile team and software development methodologies

Solid understanding around UI/UX fundamentals

The ability to work individually as well as the ability to work in project teams

Proven ability in decomposing concepts to discrete development tasks and managing your work to a deadline

Familiarity of microservices up to include: docker, podman, and or containerization services. Desired Skills

Fundamental understanding around text analytics and its applications/role/use in business intelligence/business analytics (i.e. search, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, document summarization, document categorization) whether through education or experience

Demonstrated experience developing proof of concepts of new technologies and evaluating the state of the art in machine learning algorithms for text analytics whether through education or experience

Fundamental understanding around machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Keras, Tensorflow whether through education or experience is a plus

Fundamental understanding of data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Pandas, D3.js, ggplot, etc) whether through education or experience

Experience with Relational or Non-Relational data stores such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB whether through education or experience

Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub for documenting work a plus
