General Manager - Restoration Industry

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Abingdon, VA

N Tier Disaster Recovery Solutions (NTDRS) is seeking a General Manager in Abingdon, Virginia. The General Manager leads and oversees branch operations, including sales, production, estimating, and administrative support. The GM is responsible for growing revenue, ensuring efficient and safe operations, developing the team, maintaining customer satisfaction, and achieving profitability. This position requires working onsite at the Abingdon, VA location.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee daily branch operations, including mitigation, restoration, construction, and reconstruction projects

• Ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget

• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins

• Drive sales growth and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners

• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve escalated issues

• Train and mentor team members

• Maintain compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies

• Support emergency response readiness and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Experience managing a mitigation or restoration branch

• Strong understanding of water, mold, fire, and smoke damage restoration processes, building codes, and safety regulations

• Experience working with insurance carriers and third-party administrators

• IICRC WRT/FSRT/ASD/AMRT certification would be nice to show industry experience but not required

• Project management and business development background

• Proficiency in DASH, MICA, and Xactimate software

• Ability to build and manage relationships with staff, clients, and industry partners

• Effective communication and organizational skills

• A valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle

• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
