Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize SQL Server environments in a collaborative IT organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership skills and a commitment to database innovation, ensuring high performance and reliability in our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including VM servers.

Collaborate with cross-agency database administrators on various database platforms, including Azure Cloud and Oracle.

Ensure best practices in database design, configuration, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

Provide Tier III technical support and lead incident resolution efforts.

Develop technical documentation, project plans, and interact with stakeholders for proposed solutions.

Required Technical Skills:

6+ years of experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.).

6+ years of experience configuring SQL services, coordinating releases, and managing upgrades.

6+ years of experience managing SQL Databases in both on-prem and cloud environments.

6+ years of experience providing DBA support in multi-datacenter settings.

Experience working with Azure Cloud and Oracle databases.
