Forklift Operator

Seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team.

This position plays a key role in the daily operations by deficiently handling recyclable fiber materials, ensuring safe loading and unloading and supporting production flow within a warehouse or Plant environment.

Key Responsibilities: Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to move bales of recycled fiber, pallets, and other Materials.

Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers according to company procedures and safety standards.

Transport recyclable materials to proper processing or storage areas.

Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure equipment is kept in good condition.

Perform routine forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety Concerns.

Work in coordination with warehouse and production teams to meet operational goals.

Follow all company safety policies and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.

At least 6-8 years of forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or recycling environment preferred.

Ability to work in various conditions, including outdoor elements and dusty or noisy environments.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment: Exposure to loud machinery, heavy equipment, and recycled material.

May require lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings.
