Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Developing and monitoring annual R&M budgets, including CAPEX and OPEX (utilities, fuel, and spares).
Operational Excellence: Analyzing machine efficiencies and breakdown trends to minimize downtime and meet production demands.
Asset Management: Overseeing the lifecycle of all capital equipment, from scheduled servicing to the commissioning of new plant developments.
Supply Chain Coordination: Managing critical engineering spares, stock levels, and supplier quality to ensure zero-interruption to production.
Project Oversight: Managing engineering projects from inception to commissioning, including contractor management and Gantt chart development.
Compliance & Safety: Enforcing strict SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards and legislative requirements.
Leadership: Mentoring a technical team, managing performance reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical field).
Proven expertise in high-speed automated production environments, specifically with advanced baking lines, automated weighing systems, and high-volume packaging machinery.
A Certificate in Project Management is highly desirable.
Deep technical understanding of food safety, productivity, and manufacturing management. Key Skills:
