Machining Leader – 2nd Shift

Pay: $35.00/hour + $1.25/hour shift premium

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Openings: 1

We are currently seeking an experienced Machining Leader to join our team on 2nd shift in Coldwater, MI. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise in CNC machining, electrical and mechanical systems, and shop-floor troubleshooting.

What You’ll Do

As a Machining Leader, you will be responsible for leading machining operations while supporting equipment reliability, quality, and team performance. Key responsibilities include:

Lead and support machining team members during 2nd shift operations

Troubleshoot and support Fanuc CNC machines and motor controls

Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Support continuous improvement, safety, and production goals

Assist with problem-solving related to machine downtime and process issues

Act as a technical resource and leader on the shop floor

What We’re Looking For

1+ years of experience working with:

Electrical and mechanical systems

Hydraulics and pneumatic systems

Basic troubleshooting of Fanuc CNC controls and motor controls

Prior machining, CNC, or manufacturing leadership experience preferred

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to lead by example and support a production team

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Pay & Shift Details

Starting pay: $35.00/hour

2nd shift premium: $1.25/hour
