Full-Stack Java Developer (Angular & AWS Cloud)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer with expertise in Angular and AWS Cloud to design, develop, and deploy web and cloud-native applications. The candidate will work onsite in McLean, VA, building serverless architectures, cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and high-performance applications.

McLean, VA - 100% ONSITE FROM DAY 1 (Local candidates preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular

Create and maintain serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch

Develop RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda

Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild

Design and maintain automated testing frameworks using AWS services such as CodeBuild and CodeDeploy

Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS ECS, EKS, and Fargate

Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation and CloudWatch

Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using AWS CloudWatch and X-Ray

Implement security best practices using AWS IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail

Develop automated backup and disaster recovery solutions using AWS EBS and S3

Collaborate with teams to implement DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation Required Skills & Experience

8-10 years of overall IT experience

Advanced Java concepts and strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot

Very strong Angular development experience

Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications on AWS

Hands-on experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions

Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to design and deliver complex cloud-native solutions

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail and adherence to best practices

Ability to work independently in an onsite environment Preferred Skills

PostgreSQL database experience

Medium level experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, and Python

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools
