About the Role
We are a fast-growing industrial solutions company specializing in engineered systems and control panel manufacturing. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to manage purchasing, vendor relationships, and material flow for project-based work.
This is a critical role that directly impacts project timelines, cost control, and overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Procure electrical, mechanical, and industrial components for project-based work
Coordinate purchasing based on project timelines, BOMs, and production schedules
Track and manage open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, and order status
Work closely with engineering, production, and project management teams
Maintain accurate records in ERP/accounting system (QuickBooks or similar)
Monitor inventory levels for commonly used components without overstocking
Resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments, and invoices
Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, electrical, or construction environments strongly preferred
Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Strong organizational and follow-up skills (this role requires constant tracking of many moving parts)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
Proficiency with Excel and purchasing/accounting software
Strong communication skills with both internal teams and vendors
Nice to Have
Experience with industrial control panels, automation components, or electrical parts
Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise or similar systems
Vendor negotiation experience
