Isle of Wight County Schools is seeking an Behavior Instructional Assistant for the 2025-2026 school year. Isle of Wight County Schools is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and student-focused Instructional Assistant II - Behavior to provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students. This position works under the supervision of the Behavior Instructional Coach and collaborates closely with teachers and school staff to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions that help students succeed in the classroom environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting students with diverse behavioral and learning needs.

Candidates must have an Associates Degree, completion of 60 college credit hours, or has passed the Praxis Paraprofessional Assessment.

Certification: Requires completion of Autism Spectrum Disorder training for paraprofessionals. (

Minimum hourly rate of pay: $17.21/hour

This is a 10-month position.
