About the role
Perform thorough mechanical inspections and tests on rotating equipment such as pumps, turbines, compressors, and gearboxes during installation, maintenance, and operation.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Key responsibilities include conducting inspections for proper alignment and installation, Perform Dimensional Inspection, reviewing documentation, overseeing non-destructive testing (NDT), and other quality documenting findings to ensure equipment meets project specifications and industry standards.
Document all inspection results, defects, and non-conformities. Prepare and submit reports and manage quality control documents like inspection and test plans (ITP).
Competencies and behaviour required (What strengths needed?)
Requirement: minimum vocational high background: Automotive and Machining.
Possess General Knowledge of mechanical and overall maintenance. Familiar with measuring tools, and general tools.
Familiar with Assembly drawing, symbols and legend.
Familiar with relevant standard such as API, NEMA, codes, and rules of thumbs
Behaviour requirement: Achievement Orientation, communication for result, teamwork, active learning, business awareness, problem solving and analytical thinking
Qualifications/Experience and Knowledge Required
Fresh Graduate are welcome., 1–2-year experience in machinist role or automotive mechanic is preferred
Production Knowledge: Precision Measuring tools/instrument such as Dial Gage, OD micrometres, ID micrometre, Callipers etc and math calculation.
Familiar with Computer. Familiar with Drawing Software is a Plus. Hand Sketches is preferable
Proficient in English Language verbal and in written-Having certificate in English communication such as TOEIC is a plus
Basic Mechanical such as Lifting and Rigging, Metal and Alloys, Bearings, Welding, Production Processes and Shaft Alignment
