Responsibilities

Sets up files for the Layout Artists.

Models low polygon sets.

Solves technical problems.

Does simple scripts.

Makes simple viewport FX.

Does simple Rigging.

Works with internal tools to publish the shots.

Keeps up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.

Breaks down the scenes properly and manages own work.

Collaborates with other team members, when necessary.

Follows the Supervisor’s and Lead s guidance.

Requirements

3-5 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries.

At least 1 year of experience in the animation industry.

Strong knowledge of Maya is necessary.

Demonstrable artistic skills including a strong sense of composition and perspective, the ability to create atmosphere and good understanding of editing.

Knowledge of animation is a must.

Understands cameras, staging, composition, pacing, timing, general film-making concepts, both in animation and live action contexts.

Comfortable creating basic assets.

Respect for the procedures and requirements of the studio, production and pipeline.

Programming in Python.

Medium-high English level.

Spanish desirable.
