Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance secure LAN and WAN infrastructure supporting real time, mission critical processing services across Africa. The role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a distributed team.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN networks to company standards.

Ensure network reliability, redundancy, and security for real time processing environments.

Manage network documentation, diagrams, and operational support records.

Resolve tickets, perform maintenance, and execute changes in line with Change Management policies.

Participate in vulnerability management, system upgrades, and vendor coordination.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements.

Support continuous improvement, research, and professional development initiatives.

Collaborate with cross functional teams across multiple African regions.

Key Skills:

Strong experience managing secure LAN/WAN environments.

Proficiency with Word, Excel, Visio, and operational support systems.

Experience supporting high availability, real time systems is an advantage.

Qualifications:

Relevant IT/Networking qualification.
