Position: Temporary Paint Coating Technicians

Location: Waupaca, WI

Wage: $18/hr

Work Hours:

5am-2pm Monday-Friday

2pm-11pm Monday-Friday

Job Overview:

The Technician loads parts for processing in dipping tanks. These tanks immerse the parts in liquids, such as paint. The coating process ensures that each article is properly covered. The operator follows established procedures throughout the process. All work is performed to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

Examine products throughout the coating process-at the start, during, and upon completion-to ensure quality and detect defects that could impact appearance or performance

Work closely with team members to ensure all coating materials and finished products meet customer specifications

Safely load and unload castings using proper hooks and hangers

Assist with line setup, including preparing drip trays, performing hook changeovers, moving tanks and pans, mixing or stirring tank contents, adding materials for proper consistency, and vacuuming barrels

Adjust parts on the line to capture paint puddles and remove excess paint with brushes

Notify upstream operators of any defects so corrections can be made promptly

Organize finished products on skids or in containers according to customer requirements

Provide support in other areas of the plant as needed

Monitor your own work to maintain quality, meet production targets, and complete tasks efficiently

Follow all safety and security protocols, report hazards, and handle equipment and materials properly

Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Manufacturing or production experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
