Lead Electrical Installation Supervisor & Commissioning Lead

Location: Morrilton, Arkansas

Duration: Approximately 12 months (with potential for extension or conversion to permanent)

Work Schedule: Project-based onsite role

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Installation Supervisor and Commissioning Lead to support a large industrial project in the Morrilton, Arkansas area. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installation phase of the project and leading commissioning activities to ensure systems are installed, tested, and brought online safely and efficiently.

This role requires a strong field presence and the ability to coordinate closely with engineering teams, contractors, and project management to ensure electrical systems are installed according to design specifications and project timelines.

The position is initially expected to last approximately one year, with the potential for contract extension or conversion to a permanent role depending on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Installation Supervision

Oversee onsite electrical installation activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications.

Coordinate and supervise electrical contractors and field technicians during installation phases.

Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure proper system installation.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Commissioning Leadership

Lead the commissioning and startup of electrical systems and equipment.

Coordinate testing procedures, system verification, and troubleshooting during commissioning activities.

Ensure all electrical systems are properly integrated and functioning prior to operational handover.

Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues.

Project Coordination

Serve as the primary point of contact for electrical installation and commissioning activities onsite.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain project schedules and milestones.

Provide regular updates on installation progress, risks, and potential issues.

Safety & Compliance

Promote and enforce strong safety practices and standards on the job site.

Ensure all electrical installation and commissioning activities comply with applicable industry regulations and project safety protocols.

Qualifications

Experience supervising electrical installation and commissioning activities in industrial or large-scale project environments.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, controls, and industrial equipment installation.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.

Experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project teams in field environments.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities during commissioning and startup phases.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting large industrial, manufacturing, power generation, or heavy equipment projects.

Prior experience leading commissioning and startup phases of complex electrical systems.

Familiarity with industrial automation or control systems is a plus.
