IS Technical Specialist

Description Job Title: IS Technical Specialist Organization Name: The Huntington National Bank Job Location: 7 Easton Oval, Columbus, OH 43219 Detailed Description Support the Data Management Services business unit, which develops solutions on the Customer Information System (CIS) for all segments of the Bank.

Perform full-stack development using Spring Boot, Fuse, and Angular.

Develop RESTful web services using Swagger for REST API documentation.

Build and maintain code repositories and code migrations using GIT, SVN, CSV, and Jenkins.

Implement Microservices using Spring Boot and continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins and Kubernetes.

Analyze, design, and develop systems based upon user specifications.

Provide technical assistance in solving software problems.

Troubleshoot and debug applications.

Modernize and transform legacy systems and applications.

Perform current state analysis.

Deploy APIs using Jenkins, OpenShift, and ServiceNow.

Test APIs using Karate and Junit.

Build batch jobs using Spring Boot Batch.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Four years of Java software development experience for enterprise-level projects, including use of Java technologies such as Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot, designing and developing RESTful APIs, application of Microservices architecture, and use of frontend technologies including Angular, HTML, and JavaScript.

Experience must also include at least two years using Cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure, implementing CI/CD pipelines and tools for automated deployment and integration, and database design and management using SQL, DB2, and MongoDB.

Hybrid work schedule may be available if residing in Central Ohio area.
