ROBOT ARM OPERATOR

Blue Seal/KENT Nutrition, a member of the KENT WORLDWIDE family of companies has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Robot Arm Operator in Arcade, NY! The Robot Arm Operator is responsible for the operation of the automatic palletizer and wrap machine.

This is a 2nd shift opportunity with a schedule of 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Report any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor.

The safe, efficient functioning of the automatic palletizer and wrap machine - making any necessary adjustments to ensure quality stacking.

Inspect empty pallets to ensure they are of good quality.

Performing daily Metal Detect checks and weigh checks to ensure equipment is working properly.

Troubleshooting operational issues following all safety protocols.

The organization and cleanliness of the east alleyway of the East Warehouse.

Monitoring, organizing, and recording of ripped bags, "off weights" and metal reject.

Checking weights and date codes on the products being packed.

Organizing rework and cooperating with the Shift Support Person in accessing rework.

Compacting of cardboard as time permits.

All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Good communication skills.

Understanding of feed manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow.

Understanding of feed mill equipment and layout.

Thorough understanding of cGMP's.

Knowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety Plan.

Knowledge of FSMA.

Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. from floor to working height as job requires.

Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

WAGE:

Starting at $19.50 an hour.
