Packer

Job Summary

The Packer is responsible for safely handling, inspecting, and packaging finished aluminum products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards prior to shipment.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect finished materials for defects, damage, or inconsistencies

Package aluminum extrusions using proper materials (wrap, cardboard, strapping, etc.)

Label products accurately according to work orders and shipping requirements

Operate packaging equipment such as banders, stretch wrap machines, and saws

Maintain organization of packing area and staging zones

Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE

Assist with loading and preparing shipments as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus

Ability to read work orders and use basic measuring tools

Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Stand, bend, and move for extended periods

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
