Job description*:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to join our dynamic Cloud Operations team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS EKS, microservices architecture, container technologies, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud-native applications.

#Responsibilities:

• AWS EKS Administration:

o Manage and maintain AWS EKS clusters, including node provisioning, scaling, and upgrades.

o Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to EKS clusters and Kubernetes workloads.

o Implement and maintain best practices for EKS security, including network security, access control, and vulnerability management.

• IaC Terraform and DevOps:

o Design, implement, and maintain Terraform modules to automate the provisioning and configuration of AWS infrastructure.

o Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IaC and DevOps tools and processes.

• Microservices Operations:

o Monitor and optimize the performance of microservices deployed on EKS.

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to microservices, including container failures, network connectivity problems, and service mesh configurations using ISTIO.

o Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations of microservices.

• Incident Response:

o Respond to incidents and outages, quickly diagnosing and resolving issues.

o Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support.

• Security and Compliance:

o Stay up-to-date with the latest security best practices and implement measures to protect cloud environments.

o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
