Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An established compounding pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and team leadership at its facility in Ohio. Location & Schedule:

Onsite position in Albany, Ohio

Monday through Friday schedule

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio and, as needed, additional non-resident state licenses

Ensure full compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations

Maintain facility and pharmacist licensure across multiple states

Lead and represent the facility during Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA inspections and regulatory meetings

Develop, review, and maintain SOPs and training programs

Oversee regulatory reporting, recalls, complaints, and quality investigations

Lead quality assurance/control activities, including batch record reviews, deviations, environmental monitoring, and validation efforts

Maintain the Quality Management System and approve product labeling and change controls

Manage vendor qualification and reserve sample programs

Present quality metrics to site and corporate leadership

Qualifications:

Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Minimum 5 years leadership experience managing teams

Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA, DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding

Proven success leading inspections and regulatory audits

Excellent communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency

Multi-state licensure experience preferred

Preferred Experience:

10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries

7+ years in quality or compliance roles with increasing responsibility
