Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and ensuring an engaging shopping experience. This role involves assisting customers with their purchases, managing product displays, and supporting store operations to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Previous experience in retail sales, proficiency with POS systems, and strong communication skills are highly valued. Bilingual abilities and supervising experience are a plus, helping to serve a diverse clientele effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store

Operate POS systems for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and returns

Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits

Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities

Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts

Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom items

Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Assist in cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency

Support store operations such as opening/closing procedures and maintaining cleanliness

Requirements

Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations

Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts

Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demonstration tasks effectively

Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving a broader customer base

Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly attitude

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
