Teacher: HS Math

Otter Valley is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and collaborative HS Math Teacher teacher to begin with the 2026-27 school year.

The candidate should possess the ability to deliver differentiated instruction using varied and experiential methods to engage students.

Job Responsibilities All Otter Valley teachers are expected to: implement standards-aligned units of study and engaging lessons use content-specific pedagogical techniques to engage learners use assessment to inform instruction throughout the learning process create positive classroom cultures focused on relationships, inclusive practices, and reciprocal trust collaborate effectively with colleagues to improve teaching methods and ensure support is in place for all students.

Specific responsibilities for this position include: connect content standards and practice standards in lesson and unit development design standards-aligned assessments and lessons, and use formative assessment data to adjust lessons serve as an advisor Values the importance of the student-teacher relationship as both the educator and advisor.

Maintains strong communication skills.

(Teacher to student, parent, administrator, and other professionals involved in a student's educational goals.)
