Rotating Equipment Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Supervisor (Compressor Specialist) for a critical, short-term maintenance and overhaul project in Libya. This role requires an expert with extensive hands-on experience in high-performance turbomachinery and the leadership capabilities to drive a technical team under tight deadlines.

Due to the critical nature of this project, we require a candidate capable of immediate mobilisation for an April 2026 start.

Position Overview

Location: Libya (Onshore)

Contract Type: Short-term / Project-based

Mobilisation: Immediate (Target: April 2026)

Logistics: Visa, full-board accommodation, and local transportation are fully provided.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Oversight: Supervise the inspection, maintenance, and repair of axial and centrifugal compressor sections on industrial gas turbines (GE, Siemens, Solar, etc.).

Team Leadership: Lead a multi-disciplinary team of technicians to ensure project milestones are met safely and efficiently.

Quality Control: Execute precision measurements, alignments, and clearances according to OEM specifications.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex mechanical issues related to rotor dynamics, blade health, and casing integrity.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Oil & Gas safety protocols and environmental regulations in an onshore environment.

Reporting: Maintain detailed daily progress reports and technical documentation for the client.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 10–15 years of specialised experience focusing on axial/centrifugal compressor sections of industrial gas turbines.

OEM Familiarity: Proven track record working with major brands such as GE (Frame series), Siemens (SGT), or Solar (Mars/Titan/Taurus).

Industry Background: Solid experience within the Oil & Gas sector is mandatory.

Availability: Must be available for immediate deployment to Libya.

Certifications: * Valid offshore/onshore medical fitness certificate.

Valid safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, H2S, or equivalent onshore safety training).

Soft Skills: Strong command of English, excellent leadership under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in remote locations.
