Computer Aided Design Drafter

We are hiring for a great construction company!

They are seeking a CAD Drafter to assist with the mapping of aerial and underground utility lines.

This is a full time contract job opportunity, which is expected to last 1 year.

This role requires you to be in office 5 days a week.

Requirements & QualificationsProficiency in AutoCAD, due to utilization within course work or through employment.Ability to effectively communicate with others.

Experience Desired (NOT Required)Experience reading blueprints, conduit prints and floor plans.Experience reading permits and setting up traffic control.Two years of experience.Base-mapping, GIS and layering, fundamental knowledge of Outside Plant, running line, conduit and cable design for copper, fiber optics, coax, manholes, hand holes, Make-Ready Engineering and poles (aerial and underground).Site surveys, translating field notes to develop and update conduit/ cable engineering design drawings in AutoCAD.

Will provide on-the-job training.
