Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized Human Resources Assistant people-focused with experience to support our high volume, fast-paced staffing operations.
This role is critical to ensuring seamless administrative workflows while supporting HR functions related to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance for our contingent workforce and internal team.
Experience working in a staffing or high-volume environment is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities Administrative & Office SupportProvide daily administrative support to staffing leadership and recruiting teamsMaintain accurate electronic filing systemsServe as a professional point of contact for candidates, employees Human Resources & Staffing SupportAssist with high-volume onboarding and offboarding employeesProcess new hire paperwork including I-9s, E-Verify, background checks, and drug screensMaintain employee records in HRIS/ATS systems with a high level of accuracyRespond to employee inquiries regarding policies, pay, benefits, and assignment detailsSupport compliance with employment laws and staffing regulations (FLSA, EEO, state labor laws) Qualifications2+ years of experience in an Administrative Assistant, HR Generalist, or Staffing Coordinator rolePrior experience in a staffing agency or high-volume HR environment preferredKnowledge of HR processes, employment compliance, and confidentiality best practicesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ATS/HRIS systems is a plusExcellent communication skills with a customer-service mindsetAbility to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment What We OfferCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for growth within a staffing and HR-focused career pathCollaborative and supportive team environment This is an onsite role in Columbus Ohio.
