Systems Engineer - Desktop Engineering

Plano, TX - 100% onsite position

9-month with possibility of extension

W2 Rate - $40-42/hr

Seeking those with a Systems Engineer/Desktop Engineering background - will be supporting the building of a lab/data center and must have strong experience in both Mac OS and Windows OS

Must have the following technical skillset:

3-5 years in a systems/desktop engineer position servicing HW/SW and ideally setting up large desktop infrastructures with hands-on experience in physical device setup and support

Experience working in a production environment and data center to ensure device uptime

Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure and device lifecycle (set up, maintenance, troubleshooting, decommissioning)

Strong experience with Windows OS and Mac OS

Expertise in laptop, desktop device troubleshooting

Knowledge of KVM switches and hardware setup in a lab/data center environment

Ability to conduct pre-production testing for software and hardware compatibility (e.g., Zoom, essential enterprise applications)

Proficiency with device monitoring tools such as Aternity

Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, including: JAMF (Mac OS); SCCM (Windows); Intune (Cloud-based endpoint management)
