Millwright

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Millwright work who will be working in collaboration with the production department and will be responsible for the proper functioning of production equipment and mechanical installations.

Shift time --Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 3pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure optimal performance of equipment.

Respond to service calls quickly.

Identify and diagnose breakdowns, irregularities, and failures.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.

Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Installation of electromechanical equipment.

Perform safety improvements on equipment.

Respect the standards of quality as well as health and safety at work.

QUALIFCATIONS

Valid Millwright 433A license.

If the candidate has their Dual Ticket, that would be the client's preference and the wage would be adjusted accordingly -$40-$45/hr If you have a dual ticket, $45-$50/hr

Experience in electrical troubleshooting, an asset.

Good troubleshooting knowledge.

Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge.

Able to read and understand machine drawings.

Good physical condition.

Autonomous, methodical, and efficient.

Good communication skills.

Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside shift, if required.

Ability to work independently as well as on a team to complete major projects.
