Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Human Resources Assistant people-focused with experience to support our high volume, fast-paced staffing operations. This role is critical to ensuring seamless administrative workflows while supporting HR functions related to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance for our contingent workforce and internal team. Experience working in a staffing or high-volume environment is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support
Provide daily administrative support to staffing leadership and recruiting teams
Maintain accurate electronic filing systems
Serve as a professional point of contact for candidates, employees
Human Resources & Staffing Support
Assist with high-volume onboarding and offboarding employees
Process new hire paperwork including I-9s, E-Verify, background checks, and drug screens
Maintain employee records in HRIS/ATS systems with a high level of accuracy
Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, pay, benefits, and assignment details
Support compliance with employment laws and staffing regulations (FLSA, EEO, state labor laws)
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in an Administrative Assistant, HR Generalist, or Staffing Coordinator role
Prior experience in a staffing agency or high-volume HR environment preferred
Knowledge of HR processes, employment compliance, and confidentiality best practices
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ATS/HRIS systems is a plus
Excellent communication skills with a customer-service mindset
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
