Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites. Key Responsibilities
Install fire alarm systems based on blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes (NEC standards).
Interpret CAD drawings, system diagrams, and technical documentation for accurate installations.
Inspect construction sites to ensure systems meet safety and compliance regulations.
Perform routine maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on fire alarm systems, including panels, sensors, and low-voltage wiring.
Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper system integration during project phases.
Maintain detailed documentation including service reports, inspection logs, and system updates.
Provide field service support by diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, sensors, and low-voltage electrical systems.
Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) and electrical building codes.
Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting, testing equipment, and installation tools.
Mechanical aptitude with experience in construction environments or service technician roles.
Ability to conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Knowledge of system design, wiring, and circuit layouts is a plus.
