Information Security Architect - RADY PST

Certifications:

Preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC, or equivalent security certifications.

Education Requirements:

4-6+ YOE as an Information Security Architect

Experience in a highly regulated environment, preferably hospital or healthcare

Relevant Bachelors degree - highly preferred

Cert US Security Professional - highly preferred

Experience in a contract environment - highly preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Do NOT provide just yes and no answers. I need details.):

: Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience with network and system security audits and with application security audits

Solid understanding of Federal and State laws pertaining to safeguarding electronic protected health information, personally identified information, and other sensitive data types

Experience with disaster recovery planning and certification and accreditation process

Security certification such as CISSP or GIAC

Systems or network administration or performed ability to acquire required skills

Previous experience working with Healthcare Information Systems

Previous experience as a help desk administrator, systems engineer, or other IT related functions

Additional Qualifications:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to develop reports, security plans, and technical documentation.

Experience with security vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation strategies.

Understanding of federal and state regulations related to data protection, including HIPAA, GDPR, and other compliance standards.

Experience with network and system security audits, as well as application security assessments.

Prior experience in healthcare IT security (preferred but not required).

Background in system or network administration is a plus.
