Sr. Middleware Administrator
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent background or experience.
5+ years of experience with Linux operating systems
5+ years of working with containerized platforms optimizing and troubleshooting complex applications
In-depth knowledge of Apache Tomcat, IIS, WebSphere / HIS, and a passion for debugging complex problems
Troubleshoot and fix issues in Webservers, WebSphere, Service Now, Remedy, Archibus, WebTMA, .Net and Java applications
Build/Deploy/Configure/Troubleshoot and maintain Webservers, WebSphere content management environments.
Provide advanced administrator duties for IBM WebSphere Application Servers V8.5.5
Build/deploy/configure and maintain WebSphere, IIS, Apache, Tomcat environments
Installation and Configuration of Web/App servers and configuring enterprise apps from scratch
Scripting languages - PERL, Shell, PowerShell
Network Products and Protocols (TCP/IP, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Intrusion Detection, DNS)
Good understanding of Security standards (TLS 1.1, 1.2, Ciphers, certs).
Knowledge of JIRA administration and upgrade, apply patches to address security vulnerabilities
Maintain security audit requirements for Middleware Products and Servers
Experience working in with Enterprise Change Management Systems
Responsibilities:
What They Will Do:
Follow detailed work plans for both installation and continuing maintenance
Work with developers, application owners and vendors to facilitate app installs, upgrades and migrations
Address security, compliance, vulnerability and audit findings
Produce technical documentation to enable operational support
Troubleshoot degraded or impacted applications, participate in Incident Management & After-Action Review calls
Work productively within a strict change controlled and locked down environment
