As the Full-Time Events & Experience Manager at the Girl Scouts of Eastern IA and Western IL, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing year-round programs that align with the council’s strategic priorities. This position requires a dedicated professional who excels in time management and collaboration, as you will work cross-departmentally to create inclusive, girl-centered events that empower young girls. By fostering strong partnerships with volunteers and community organizations, you will contribute to an environment that nurtures growth, leadership, and community connection.

To excel as the Full-Time Events & Experience Manager at the Girl Scouts of Eastern IA and Western IL, candidates must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with diverse groups, including youth, volunteers, and community organizations. A minimum age of 21 is required due to insurance regulations, along with two years of experience in youth or community programming or a comparable combination of education and volunteer work. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential for managing various projects simultaneously. While experience in event planning or program development is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
Candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, as the role includes travel and operation of council vehicles such as a 12-passenger van. A willingness to obtain necessary safety certifications, along with comfort using or learning CRM and project management tools like Salesforce, Trello, or Monday.com, will further enhance your success in this adventurous position.Our team needs you!
